Volunteers Help at Work Party on May 30, 2009

Forty volunteers turned out to help clean up our grounds, clean furniture and help with minor repairs on Saturday, May 30, in preparation for the dedication ceremony for Victoria Hall on June 21.

Groundbreaking and Naming of Victoria Hall

The St. Catherine community gathered for groundbreaking and naming ceremony for our new multi-use facility on June 1.

The current construction calendar indicates the building will be finished by the middle of May, 2009. A dedication ceremony will occur on June 21, 2009

St. Catherine of Siena Parish is a Roman Catholic Church located in the Maple Leaf neighborhood of North Seattle. As a vibrant faith community, our mission is to continue the work of Jesus Christ in the following ways:

Our parish school, founded in 1941, bustles with 200 students in kindergarten through eighth grade, as well as about 38 in our preschool program. The mission of our parish school is "As a Catholic school we prepare and graduate students who show Competence, Conscience, and Compassion as children of God by using their minds well, acting justly and serving the needs of others."

Vacation Bible School July 13-17 REGISTER NOW

Do you have children ages 4-11? If so, register now. This is a wonderful opportunity for children aged 4-11 to grow in faith while having a great deal of fun! Cost is $25 per child. To register, please return the registration form and check to the parish office.

Victoria Hall Dedication and BBQ - June 21

Mark your calendars! On Sunday, June 21, 2009, Archbishop Brunett will join us for an all-parish Mass at 9:30 am followed by the Dedication of Victoria Hall and barbecue. It promises to be a joyous occasion that you won't want to miss! We are asking parish and school families with the last names of A-P to bring side dishes and Q-Z should bring salad. Burgers (meat and vegetarian) will be provided. For planning purposes, we are asking for you to r.s.v.p.
