St. Catherine Parish, located in Northeast Seattle, is a Roman Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of Seattle. Founded in 1929, St. Catherine initially served young, working class families in an area just north of the city limits. In 1942, a parish school was established.  Since then, St. Catherine Parish has experienced phenomenal growth and weathered many changes especially in the last half of the 20th century. Today, we are a vibrant, active community of about 470 households led by a Pastoral Life Director in combination with a Parochial Vicar, as well as a lay Pastoral Council. The Parish School, one of the prime ministries of the parish, bustles with 250 students from preschool through eighth grade. A new multi-use parish hall, recently named Victoria Hall, in  honor of our current Pastoral Life Direction, Victoria Ries, is being constructed and dedication will occurr June 21.
