Facilities Committee Report to the
St. Catherine Community

About the Committee

 

Our campus facilities exist to enable our faith community and school to fulfill their missions. Our facilities should allow us to joyfully proclaim the good news, nurture and grow our community, allow us to give witness through service, and help us provide an excellent education for our children. The facilities committee was formed from the school and parish facilities committees several years ago. It reports to the pastoral council and the school commission and provides guidance to Victoria Ries, our Pastoral Life Director, and Steve Mezich, our School Principal, on facilities issues. The committee is comprised of parishioners and school parents from various walks of life who share a common interest in facilities issues. Engineers, architects, artists, construction managers, and others meet monthly with Victoria and Steve not only to discuss our hopes and dreams for St. Catherine Parish, but also to iron out maintenance details of our current facilities. Other people on the committee include our chair, Peter Vogeli, Ray Landgraf, Carol Landgraf, Anna Veraldi, Robert Renouard, Dean Baker, Dave Jennings, Mary Griffin, Melanie Ruhl, Tim Holberg, Ed Ringness, Dan Robinson, George Birchfield, and Larry Boulanger.
