Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Victoria Ries (206) 524-8800 ext. 104
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which adults become members of the Catholic community. We welcome those who would like to learn more about the Catholic faith; those who would like to be baptized; and those who, having been baptized in another Christian tradition, would like to join the Catholic Church. This process culminates in the celebration of the sacraments of initiation–baptism, confirmation, eucharist–at the Easter vigil.
