16 parishioners have the opportunity to travel down to Tijuana to work with a family on building a home.

Please contact Shannon if you are interested.  Check out this link to our sponsor organization

Check out the volunteer video for more details.

Our trip formation includes:

1.     Preparation and Education Phase: During this time we will be getting to know each other and preparing ourselves for the trip.  This portion of the trip will include monthly meetings and a day retreat.  We will learn about the country we are traveling to and the experiences of its people.   We will also cover appropriate travel etiquette and any questions you have about Esperanza Int.

2.   Fundraising There are several options available to us for fundraising. You will receive a share of the money earned only from the events that you participate in.

3.   In country immersion Tijuana, Mexico ~ We will spend the mornings and early afternoons at the job site.  The evenings will be spent at various activities giving us a chance to better understand the life of the family we will be working with.

4.    Sharing our experience We are traveling as representatives of our parish community.  They will be supporting us both financially and in prayer while we prepare and travel.  We will put together a presentation to show the parish and possibly the school.
