Capital Campaign Update
Fundraising has begun for the new Multi Purpose Facility. We have received $1.22 million in pledges with about $50,000 in matching funds pledges, for a grand total of $1.27 million in pledges for our campaign to build a New Multi-Purpose Community Center/Gym for the parish and school. Thus far we have received payments of $476,000. That is up $127,000 in 1 month!!! If you have not begun payments on your pledge, please contact Mary Griffin at campaign@stcatherineparish.net or leave a message at 206- 985-2933 to let her know your method of payment and when you will begin payments. Many options for payment are available, including credit card, automatic debit (EFT), checks, stock, etc. Remember, the sooner we collect the funds needed, the sooner we can begin construction!
Matching Gifts: We are aware of possible matching
funds from parishioners available from the following companies: Microsoft,
Boeing, Bank of America, Starbucks, Aerojet, Plum Creek Timber, H &
R Block, Federated Department Stores, REI, UBS Bank and Beacon Development.
If you work for any of these companies and have not submitted a matching
gift form, please consider doing so now. If you work for another company
that may have matching gifts available, please let Mary Griffin know at
campaign@stcatherineparish.net.

Pledge Your Support: The support from both parishioners
and school parents is crucial to our success in obtaining grants from
foundations. We are happy to say that 100% of the pastoral council, finance
council and school commission has pledged their support to our capital
campaign. If you have not made a pledge, consider doing so now. All pledges,
big and small are welcome. If you need a pledge card, contact the parish
or school office.
Architectural Firm Being Chosen: The Facilities
Committee is currently reviewing qualifications of architects and will
be interviewing the firms soon.
Grants: Several grant proposals are currently being finalized and will
be submitted to foundations within the next 2 weeks. If you have any contacts
with foundations, please call Mary Griffin.
