This is Victoria’s twelfth year at St. Catherine Parish as the Pastoral Coordinator. She is appointed by the Archbishop to provide pastoral leadership and care for the parish and its ministries, including the school. She has served in ministry in the archdiocese for the past 32 years. She began as a campus and young adult minister working with the two colleges and the 20 parishes in Pierce County. Since then she served as Pastoral Associate at St. George Parish for 7 years and as Pastoral Life Director at St. Patrick for 10 years. She has a PhD in systematic theology from the University of Chicago Divinity School and she is an adjunct faculty at the School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University.

This is Father Tony’s eighth year serving as St. Catherine’s Parochial Vicar. He is also serving as Judicial Vicar in the Archdiocesan Tribunal. Father Tony was born in Seattle and grew up in St. Luke’s Parish in Shoreline. His family moved to Oak Harbor the same year he entered St. Edward Seminary in Kenmore to begin his studies for the priesthood. After continuing his studies at St. Thomas Seminary in Kenmore, Gonzaga University in Spokane and the American College in Louvain, Belgium, he was ordained to the priesthood in 1982 by Archbishop Hunthausen. He has been assigned to various parishes during his ministry including St. Patrick Parish in Tacoma and St. Patrick Parish in Seattle where he served as pastor for two years each. After earning a degree in Canon Law from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium in 1992, Father Tony began his service in the Chancery. In his spare time Father Tony enjoys cooking, kayaking and hiking.

Mark Adrian, music director, is nearing the completion of the Doctor of Musical Arts program at the University of Washington, studying with noted conductors Abraham Kaplan and Geoffrey Boers. In addition to his studies at the University and his work at St. Catherine, Mark is the founder of Northwest Associated Arts and conductor of ChoralSounds Northwest and the Cantare Vocal Ensemble, and has conducted other Seattle-area choruses including the Bainbridge Chorale and the Seattle Women’s Ensemble. Mark is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association, Chorus America, the Conductors’ Guild, and the American Guild of Organists.

Jeanne is our Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation. She completed her Masters degree in Transforming Spirituality from Seattle University in June 2011 as well as a Certification in Early Childhood Education from Portland State University in December 2010. Jeanne previously worked at St. Catherine’s as Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation from 2005-2008. Prior to 2005 her professional experience included working as a preschool teacher for 6 years in several of North Seattle Community College’s cooperative preschools and working as a physical therapist at University Medical Center (3 years) and Providence Medical Center (11 years.)  Jeanne is delighted to return as a staff member at St. Catherine’s and is looking forward to facilitating engaging and creative faith formation programs for children and adults. In her free time Jeanne enjoys hiking with her family, practicing yoga, dancing, and reading.

Shannon Fleming Bray is our Pastoral Assistant for Youth Ministry and Social Justice.  She previously held the same position at Christ the King/Cristo Rey Parish for 6 years and is passionate about seeking to live and teach a faith that does justice.

Shannon is nearing completion of a Masters degree is Pastoral Studies from the School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University.   She is married and has a one year old daughter,  Larkin Elizabeth.
