ST. CATHERINE FALL STEWARDSHIP OF TREASURE
Every year at this time, we are asked to think about our stewardship of all the gifts that God has placed in our trust. Not just how we are taking care of those gifts, but how we are sharing those gifts with our parish and our community as well. In the coming weeks we will be asked to consider if we are returning a proper portion of those gifts to our Church for the Lord to build up His Kingdom. Next Sunday we will be hearing from one of our parishioners about how God has blessed them and why they chose to share their blessings.
You can make your pledge online at this link: STEWARDSHIP PLEDGE FORM

Archdiocese of Seattle Enters A New Phase of Strategic Planning
SEATTLE, October 22, 2020 – The Archdiocese of Seattle’s Strategic Planning Committee, led by Auxiliary Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg, has completed its first phase of strategic planning, focused on the key factors that influence parish life. The team built upon previous planning efforts and research to develop new standards for a consistent assessment across the archdiocese. Strategic planning is entering a new phase where the committee will begin to share these findings with parishes.
You are invited to read this letter about the process, including graphs and information.

2020 CHRISTMAS WREATH AND POINSETTIA SALE:
The Marjorie Ryan Circle of Advocacy and Caring for Children (ACC) will be delivering locally grown mixed noble fir Wreaths and nursery-quality Poinsettias once again to St. Catherine Parish and School, for the 16th consecutive year! We truly appreciate your annual order every year and are so happy to be able to bring a little Christmas tradition and joy to you during a very unusual year! In 1918 our founding members began ACC during the Spanish Flu pandemic, so this year we are particularly reminded of their charitable work, to help struggling children and families in western Washington. We hope we are continuing the legacy they began 102 years ago!
Please see the electronic version of our order-form in your online parish bulletin or school newsletter, and return your orders via the US Mail, to the parish or school office, or in your school communication envelopes. We are pleased to be able to take Venmo for payment for the first time this year, but we still need the order information from the paper hardcopy of your order, even it you pay via Venmo. Of course, we are also happy to take payments by check, along with your completed order form.
Delivery will be outside the back door of the gym, facing the parking lot, in an no-contact, drive-thru or walk-up capacity-
Wreaths only arrive on Tuesday, November 24th and Poinsettias arrive on Tuesday Dec. 1st.
POINSETTIA orders are DUE: OCTOBER 30th.
Wreath orders ONLY can be placed up until November 13th.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL THANKSGIVING PROJECT
Thanksgiving is coming soon! St. Catherine’s St Vincent de Paul group is planning to provide approximately 34 neighbor families with the resources to plan, shop, prepare and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. To do this simply and safely, we want to provide each family with a voucher to purchase groceries at a local store. The voucher amount will be based on $25 per person, so a family of four would receive a $100 voucher. Want to help? Click below or go to the front page of the parish website and click the box marked “SVDP Holiday Program” to give whatever amount you choose. Your donation will be acknowledged on your St. Vincent de Paul contribution statement. It would help a lot to receive your donation by November 5th. Thanks for your help providing over 120 adults and children with a meal of their choice for Thanksgiving.
