VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FROM HOME

Hello everyone,

One of the more difficult aspects of COVID has been our limited ability to gather with one another at mass and through parish activities. This has been especially tough for those new to the parish and we are standing up an outreach effort to better connect with those who have joined the parish recently. If you'd be interested in making phone calls or joining virtual meetings to welcome our newest parishioners, please email Rob Wilson from the parish council at wilson5113@gmail.com

Each year, St. Francis House helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of needy children in our community. Last year we were able to share Christmas gifts with 900 children! Each family will receive a large bag of new toys and a grocery gift card. Thank you for helping us to spread the joy of Christmas during this difficult year.

Dear Parishioners,

GIVE IN THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS
Donations by December 2 will be appreciated.

Remember our “Giving Tree” with tags listing gifts for our neighbors? Remember the pleas for food for holiday meals?  This is a safe, germ-free substitution.  Our Christmas “Giving Tree” is virtual this year because of concerns for the health and safety of our community.  Our parish St. Vincent de Paul group will provide a food voucher and gift cards for our neighbor families this year.  The families will shop for the groceries they prefer for Christmas dinner and shop for the gifts they choose. We will not  worry about color or size but will provide $25 per person in the family for food and a $25 gift card.  To contribute please click below or use the Christmas Program button at the top of the home page of St. Catherine website.  Please share of your gifts to bring the joy and spirit of Christmas to 96 children and adults in our parish neighborhood.

THANKS FOR GIVING AT THANKSGIVING!

One hundred and two children and adults will have full tummies and warm hearts because of the caring and generosity of our St. Catherine Parish community.  Thank you from our St. Vincent de Paul conference! In these very difficult days you have provided hope and lightened the load for our neighbors.  You surpassed our monetary goal for Thanksgiving so we have a good head start for our Christmas meal and gifts program.  Again, THANK YOU!
